The following endoscopy examination methods are awailiable for you around the clock seven days a week:
- Small intestine endoscopy using balloon enteroscopy and capsule endoscopy
- Examination of the bile ducts and the pancreas (ERCP (Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), PTCD (Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography), cholangioscopy)
Furthermore, we regularily carry out a wide range of interventions using the state-of-the-art equipment made by Olympus during the abovementioned endoscopic procedures. These include, for example: extensive hemostasis, removal of large polyps, stent placements (in the esophagus, small intestine, bile duct, pancreatic duct), removal of a foreign bodies.
Thanks to all these endoscopic examination techniques, even critically ill patients can be examined under optimal monitor conditions.
In collaboration with the Anesthesia Department of the Bonifatius Hospital we perform endoscopic procedures even in the small patients of the clinic‘s Pediatric Department.
The processing of the endoscopy eqipment is carried out according to the specifications of the Robert-Koch-Institut in modern automatic processing machines. Regularly perform hygiene checks.
