Immunoadsorption

For patients who suffer from severe forms of autoimmune diseases with the involvement of antibodies and where conventional therapies no longer work, immunoadsorption (or immunapheresis) is a proven and effective therapy. It is used for the treatment of numerous diseases in neurology, nephrology, cardiology, transplantation medicine, dermatology or hematology.

In the case of immunoadsorption, the autoantibodies are removed from the patient's blood via a special filter. The purified plasma, together with the cell-rich blood, is returned to the patient.
